One of the best parts about living in Washington, DC is being able to hop in the car, drive under two hours and be in another world in the countryside of Virginia. A friend owns an old farm house from the early 1900s, and although rehabbed, the house contains neither central heat/air nor an indoor shower. We were really roughing it! After a fantastically silent (and fiery warm!) night at the farmhouse, the next morning we went over to visit a friend of our friend’s exotic animal farm even farther out in the country. This city girl didn’t know what to expect! I took a multitude of pictures throughout the gorgeous weekend, but this one was my favorite. The only llama on the land, this llama actually thought it was one of the goats.
